About NTS
NTS is the acronym for National Testing Service – Pakistan. It is established in 2006 in Islamabad because of the extreme need of a Testing system in the National Education Policy of Pakistan. NTS is the first and self-sustained testing organization that takes assessments for the scholarships, promotion, admissions and recruitment purposes. It conducts two types of test the Graduate Assessment Test (GAT) and the National Aptitude Test (NAT). NAT is used when students who have completed their intermediate want to take admission in different universities of Pakistan, both private and government are included. GAT conducts test when graduates look for admission in postgraduate education. NTS also keeps a track of the student’s qualification if they are seeking admission in international universities in different parts of the world. It is developed to ensure the quality of education assessment and is recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC).
